Most attic insulation projects in LA run between $1,500 and $4,500, depending on the size of the attic, the current condition of existing insulation, and the material used. Homes with damaged or contaminated insulation that needs removal first will be toward the higher end. We provide free in-home estimates so you know the exact cost before committing to anything.
Not always. If your existing insulation is in good condition, meaning no pest contamination, no moisture damage, and no significant settling, blown-in insulation can often be added directly on top to bring your R-value up to current standards. If there is evidence of rodent activity, mold, or significant deterioration, removal and replacement is the right approach. We assess this during your free estimate.
Most standard attic insulation jobs in a typical LA home take 3 to 8 hours. Larger homes, jobs requiring the removal of existing insulation, or projects that include air sealing and crawl space work will take longer. We will give you an accurate time estimate upfront.
