Effective rat proofing uses materials rated for permanent pest exclusion, not foam alone, not standard window screen, and not thin sheet metal. Our exclusion materials include galvanized hardware cloth with the appropriate mesh size, sheet metal flashing for larger gaps, and two-component foam, used in combination with hardware cloth where needed, to provide a complete seal. We do not use poison baiting as part of our exclusion service.

Our service focuses on exclusion and remediation of damage. For homes with an active infestation that needs to be cleared before exclusion work, we can coordinate with a licensed pest control operator.
The exclusion materials we install are designed to be permanent. However, homes are not static. Settling and normal wear can create new entry points over time.
