When you can’t install ductwork for a complete HAVC system, ductless mini-split systems are the best solution. They are highly efficient and flexible and they can cool and heat your home quickly and effectively. What’s more, you can install ductless mini-splits for cooling and heating in a targeted area, for example, a bedroom or the living room, without affecting the rest of your home.Â
Ductless mini-splits consist of two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser unit and one or more indoor air-handling units. These are connected by a conduit that houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain.
