Roxul Sound Insulation is one of the best ways to reduce the amount of sound that travels between your walls and into your ambient space. Noise travels in all directions and can come from anywhere. The noise can from an outside construction site or from within your own living space. Noise can cause distractions and can prevent a person from enjoying peace and silence.
Many consider Roxul Sound insulation for a variety of reasons. Some reasons include the following:
The reasons to soundproof your home with Rolux are endless, however, the end result is usually the same: a peacefully quiet space. One of the many benefits of Roxul sound insulation is that it helps reduce the amount of noise that travels from wall to wall. Outside noises can travel through the exterior walls of your home and into your living space. Those who live in big cities, where construction is common, know exactly how it feels to be awakened or distracted by the noise of a drill drilling through concrete slabs. One
of the many qualities of Roxul insulation is that it helps prevent low and high frequencies from traveling from wall to wall. In other words, it has the capacity to reduce the noise coming from a honking horn and the ability to reduce the noise coming from a construction site or the general public.
Aside from the obvious reasons one may seek Roxul sound insulation it is good to know that the insulating material is completely fireproof. The fireproof material is resistant to fire even when directly in contact with fire. For many that live in areas prone to wildfires its means that their home will remain standing for a long time when coming into contact with flames. Roxul insulation helps prevent the fire from spreading from stud to stud allowing firefighters more time to combat the fire.
Furthermore, Roxul is a material made from rock fibers and other recycled materials which prevents the build-up of mold and bacterial growth. This completely green produce helps prevent fires, reduces the amount of noise, and helps prevent mold from building up between walls. The Roxul installation procedure is different for every project. In other words, the process differs for homes that are being built from the ground up and for homes that have already been built. When it comes to constructing a new home, Roxul Installation is placed during the construction process. Roxul insulation is placed between the studs before the drywall is installed. Like with other insulation material, the insulation is cut and fitted around the studs of the building. An installation expert will make exact cuts in order to reduce the amount of space between the insulation and the studs in order to reduce the air leakage.
When the home is already built, the only way to install Roxul sound insulation is to remove the drywall from the walls. When the drywall is removed, the insulation material is cut and fitted between the studs and small spaces. Many consider Roxul sound insulation whenever there is an imperfection with the walls in a home. Keep in mind that a construction project that requires demolition will add to the total cost of installation. However, demolition is usually included with the overall price you will pay to have the drywall hung, coated, and painted. Regardless of the circumstances, the installation procedure will usually go as follows:
The installation procedure for the Roxul Insulation is easier than you may think. Roxul insulation is a sturdy material that can be maneuvered to fit different spaces. If you wish to learn more about the installation procedure, you may want to speak with an expert at Pure Eco Inc.
Roxul sound insulation is perfect for dimming out sounds in different parts of your home. However, the product works best when all indoor ceilings and walls are insulated. This helps keep the noise coming from the laundry room from reaching other parts of the home. When a single room is insulated, the room will experience less noise, however, the noise coming from the outside will be free to travel to different non-insulated parts of your home. To create the most noise resistant home you should consider insulating all walls and ceilings.
Roxul sound insulation is perfect for keeping outside noises from disrupting your sleep or from distributing your sound recordings. Insulation can be used for various reasons and in different parts of your home depending on your overall goal. Keep in mind that if you want to experience the least amount of noise within your walls, it is best to insulate all interior walls and ceilings.
The following are common rooms that are treated with Roxul sound insulation. There are many reasons for insulation, but the outcome is usually a quieter living or workspace.
One of the most common places that are insulated with Roxul are those used for musical purposes. Many of our clients are musicians and singers that require a ‘quiet room’. Because they are producing sound and usually transmitting that sound to a recording station, it is crucial to reduce the amount of outside noise in order to achieve a clean and crisp recording sound. Many who have tried recording musical instruments understands the value of a room that has the ability to soak up the sound coming from the outside or from other rooms. Furthermore, singers enjoy an insulated room as it allows them to practice their high pitch. Singers benefit from a quiet room as it allows them to record their voice without outside frequencies meddling in their recording station. What's more is that when living with other family members or roommates, the singer does not have to worry about waking someone up or disturbing someone else's peace. Preventing sound from traveling from room to room can be achieved using wall sponges, however, it does not produce the same reduction in sound as with Roxul insulation. As mentioned before, Roxul insulation is installed between the walls acting as a barrier to both high and low-frequency sounds.
Another common request for soundproofing is home offices. Business professionals often find that a well-insulated home office allows them to speak with other members of their team or clients without outside interruptions. For business professionals, this is a huge benefit that gives them a piece of mind. Business professionals are often on phone calls or on video calls and reducing the amount of outside noise helps improve communication. Often a phone call or a video can be interrupted by family members or roommates playing an instrument, watching T.V too loud, or from outside noises made from cars, planes, and the general public. Aside from taking phone calls and attending video calls, business professionals often work within tight schedules which means that they need to remain focused. A task can become longer when the individual is not allowed to focus due to high noise levels causing distractions. When a professional need to get work done, there is nothing like working within a quiet space. If you are a business professional that wishes to learn more about insulating an office space, you are encouraged to speak with an insulation expert today.
Has your sleep ever been interrupted by outside construction noises? Well if you live in the city, construction noises are common and depending on the area you reside, a construction worker is allowed to make noise as soon as the clock hits eight. As you know, not everyone has an early morning start or is required to wake up early to go to work. In today’s diverse consumer market, working individuals have more freedom to choose their sleeping schedule which means people are going to sleep and waking up at different times during the day and night. A bedroom is one of the best places in your home to consider sound insulation. When your room is insulated with Roxul, it greatly reduces the amount of noise coming from within your home (noises may include children running around, your roommates getting up at different times during the day, or other individuals making noise at a time when you are trying to get sleep!). As we all know, sleeping is an essential part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle regardless of the time you wake up or go to sleep. Achieving a complete 7-8 hours of sleep can easily be interrupted by external factors that can disturb your sleep or keep you up while you are trying to sleep. To avoid a sleepless day or night, you should consider insulating your bedroom.
If you own a washer and dryer, then you understand the noise that they emit when operating. A washer and a dryer are not quiet appliances and for this reason, some choose to insulate their laundry room. The sounds coming from the laundry are low-frequency sounds that are easily absorbed with Roxul insulation. The noises from this type of machinery can be distracting while trying to accomplish a task or disrupting while trying to get through your sleep. If you are insulating your home and you are on edge about insulating your laundry room, you may want to speak with an expert about your dilemma. Most of the noise produced in your home will most likely come from noisy washing and drying machines. To achieve the least amount of sound traveling to each room or different parts of your house, it is always a good idea to insulate the laundry room.
Very few individuals insulate their bathrooms with the idea of reducing the amount of noise they produce while singing their hearts out in a shower. However, it is common to insulate a bathroom especially when the bathroom is located next to an outside wall or when it is located on the second floor near the roof. As mentioned earlier, noise can come in through outside walls and the best way to fight the noise is to insulate all indoor walls. As part of a total home insulation procedure aimed at reducing the overall noise of a home, a bathroom is always one of the places considered for sound insulation.
Roxul sound insulation is perfect for anyone wishing to reduce the amount of noise entering their home or reducing the amount of indoor noise traveling to other parts of a home. Sound insulation is perfect for business professionals wishing to get work done, for artists wishing to produce clear recordings, for roommates living on different time schedules, and for parents who wish to escape the noises created by their child(ren) and friends. Roxul sound insulation is very affordable and the benefits of a quiet household becomes apparent immediately after installation.
Roxul insulation is a green material that is fire resistant, a great insulator, and a great noise reducer. I already had my main attic done last year by a different company that did not do what they said they would and ended up damaging my ceiling. Decided to go with a different company this time around for a smaller attic of an addition that isn’t directly connected to the main attic.
The attic had no insulation at all (built in the 1930s). It needed debris vacuumed out, rodent proofing, and R-38 batt insulation.
After getting quotes from several folks, decided to go with Pure Eco. Quick turnaround, reasonably priced, good professional crew lead by Martin, and clear communication through my assigned contact Jasmine. Discussion and quote was based on photos I took. Contract and payment was handled all through e-doc services. And they made sure to give me an overview of the work done before leaving. The difference in temperature was a noticeable improvement that night.
Our home needed some serious insulation and duct work done. It was awful and quite old (the insulation shrunk to approximately 3″). We called three companies for a quote, and we only saw two. We decided to go with them, before seeing the third, because of the amazing deal they offered and because they would be able to do it immediately. Ben was our sales guy and he was more than helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure to inform us that they are licensed, bonded, and have workers’ compensation insurance, which kept me at ease.
The following day was the installation. Ben told us that they would be there from 8AM – 7PM (latest). They arrived on time, and completed the job by 3PM!!! I was shocked and thoroughly pleased. William, the supervisor of our job, was extremely friendly, and his crew was very professional. They cleaned up their mess; it looked as clean as when they arrived.
I highly recommend them and think that anyone that uses them will do so as well. Hi
I am a firm believer in referrals from friends when it comes to anything for my home and this company was a good referral for sure. My husband and I love Pure Eco and would definitely recommend them to everyone.
They have very professional installers and managers. Everything went smoothly from the scheduling to the end of the job. They use new machines and trucks (I tend to judge a book by it’s cover, unfortunately).
We had them replace our duct system and they installed Radiant barrier. They came in and did their job and left with no mess behind. Definitely give them a try!
We recently bought a house in Canyon Country and the garage was completely exposed and got extremely hot this time of year. When it was 90 degrees outside, the garage was well over 100 degrees. I got quotes from about a half dozen companies but was the most impressed with Pure Eco, especially their representative Sara. She was very helpful and she worked with me on the quote and gave me a lot of of great suggestions as to the best way to get our garage as cool as possible while staying within our limited budget. She recommended insulating the ceiling and front gable and then putting in radiant barrier. Her team came out and did the job in one afternoon and cleaned up afterwards. And now our garage is a LOT cooler. I can definitely recommend Pure Eco.
