Rebates & Tax Credits

Money Back for the Work You Were Going to Do Anyway

LADWP & SoCalGas insulation rebates (verified July 2026) plus the status of the ended federal §25C credit — the SoCal rebate landscape for Los Angeles & SF Valley homeowners. Call (877) 870-7998.

Southern California has one of the more generous rebate landscapes in the country for energy-efficiency work. Our team stays current on the programs so you don't have to — we can tell you upfront which ones your project qualifies for and what paperwork we handle vs what you handle.

Programs and dollar amounts change. Every rebate below is worth confirming with the program administrator before the work starts — we'll do that with you.

LADWP — Attic Insulation Rebate

$0.50 / sq ft

LADWP residential customers can qualify for $0.50 per square foot of attic insulation rated above R-19 ($0.30/sq ft at R-19 or below where clearance is under 24 inches), capped at 80% of total project cost, one rebate per residence every 15 years. A launch-special bonus of $0.25 / sq ft applies to projects installed Sept 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 (applications postmarked by Sept 30, 2026).

SoCal Edison & SoCalGas — Home Energy Programs

Varies

SoCalGas's 2026 Home Energy Efficiency Rebates pay homes with a natural gas furnace $1.45–$3.00 per square foot for attic insulation (tiered by the R-value added, minimum R-11 on top of existing) and $1.65 / sq ft for wall insulation in qualifying pre-1988 homes — first-come, first-served while funds last. SoCal Edison programs rotate; we check what applies to your address.

Federal — IRA §25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit

Ended after 2025

The federal §25C credit (30% of qualifying costs, up to $1,200/yr for insulation and envelope work) was terminated for any property placed in service after December 31, 2025 by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Work completed in 2025 can still be claimed on 2025 returns, but 2026 installations no longer qualify — plan around the active LADWP and SoCalGas programs above instead.

Title 24 & local energy programs

Compliance

California's Title 24 energy code sets minimum efficiency standards for most home- improvement work. Pure Eco installs to code so your project passes inspection and stays eligible for future rebates and resale energy-disclosure requirements.
