Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026. Applies to Pure Eco Inc. and this website.
In plain English
Pure Eco Inc. ("Pure Eco," "we," "our," or "us") collects your name, contact information, service address, and the details you share when you request a quote, book service, chat with us, or browse this site. We use it to answer you, do the work you hired us to do, keep records, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information. If you live in California, you have specific rights over your information — including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise those rights any time by calling us at (877) 870-7998 or emailing [email protected].
This Privacy Policy explains how Pure Eco Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information collected through pureecoinc.com (the "Site") and our related services (together, the "Services"). It also describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA/CPRA").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers & contact information — name, phone number, email address, service and billing address, and (if you create an account or request records) any customer or job number we assign you.
- Service request details — the type of work you want a quote for, property characteristics (attic size, existing insulation, HVAC equipment, access notes), photos you send us, and any narrative you provide.
- Commercial information — records of quotes, invoices, payments, warranty registrations, and service history.
- Communications — the content of emails, web-form messages, chat transcripts, and text messages you exchange with us, and (only where lawful and disclosed to you at the start of the call) recordings or transcripts of phone calls for quality assurance and training. [CONFIRM: whether Pure Eco records inbound customer phone calls; default assumption is "no."]
- Internet or network activity — device type, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring URL, search terms used to reach us, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data (clicks, scroll depth, form submissions) collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Geolocation — general location derived from IP address; we do not collect precise device GPS location from the Site.
- Inferences — inferences drawn from the above to understand your service interests (e.g., whether you're evaluating attic insulation vs. HVAC).
Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, financial-account credentials, precise geolocation, health information, or the contents of your non-us mail, email, or texts, and we do not use any information we collect to infer characteristics about you.
2. Sources of Information
- Directly from you — when you fill out a form, call us, text us, chat with us, hire us, or email us.
- Automatically — via cookies, pixels, and server logs when you use the Site.
- From service providers — such as our scheduling and CRM software, form and reCAPTCHA providers, payment processor, and website-analytics providers.
- From public sources and referrals — such as public property records, utility rebate portals, referral partners, and reviews you post about us on third-party platforms.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to quote requests, schedule and perform services, and communicate about your job.
- Prepare estimates, contracts, invoices, warranty documentation, and permit or rebate paperwork.
- Process payments and (if applicable) submit financing applications on your behalf. [CONFIRM: financing provider name once Pure Eco activates a lender partner; currently disabled in site config.]
- Follow up on service, request reviews, and — with your consent — send promotions, seasonal reminders, and newsletters.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site (including analytics, fraud prevention, and reCAPTCHA).
- Comply with law, including CSLB (California Contractors State License Board) recordkeeping (License #993589), tax, warranty-registration, and rebate-program requirements.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. How We Disclose Your Information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and contractors that help us run the business — including our CRM, scheduling, and estimating software; email, form, and hosting providers; website analytics; call-tracking; payment processor; and (if applicable) financing partner.
- Manufacturers and program administrators — e.g., CertainTeed and other insulation or HVAC manufacturers for warranty registration, and utility/government program administrators (LADWP, SoCalGas, IRS §25C) when you ask us to help you file for a rebate or credit.
- Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and insurers, subject to confidentiality.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
5. "Sale" or "Sharing" of Personal Information (CCPA/CPRA)
Pure Eco Inc. does not sell personal information for money. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16.
[CONFIRM: whether the Site currently loads any third-party advertising or social pixels (e.g., Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, LinkedIn Insight) that would constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. Default assumption for this policy is that no such advertising pixels are active; if any are added in Stage 8, this section must be updated and a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link must appear in the site footer.]
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) share about you, and to receive a copy in a portable format.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax, warranty, or CSLB compliance).
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (see §5).
- Limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted without a right to limit).
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised these rights.
How to submit a request. Call (877) 870-7998,
email [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy
Request," or write to us at the address in §14. We will verify your identity (typically by matching
two data points we already have on file) before responding, and we will respond within the timeframes
required by law (generally 45 days, extendable by another 45 days if we notify you). You may designate
an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; the agent must provide written proof of
authorization.
[CONFIRM: preferred privacy-request mailbox — default is [email protected].]
Retention. We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal, tax, warranty, insurance, and contract-license (CSLB) obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Financial incentives. We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for personal information.
Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Pure Eco Inc. does not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California CCPA/CPRA. The third-party technologies that collect information through the Site are:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) — website analytics and tag management (measurement only; loaded through Google Consent Mode v2 so storage and signals stay denied until you choose).
- Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) advertising measurement — conversion measurement for our advertising campaigns, used only in line with your cookie choices; declining non-essential cookies (or sending a GPC signal) opts you out of advertising measurement.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session analytics (how visitors scroll and interact with pages) used to improve the Site.
- Call tracking (CallRail / CallTrackingMetrics) — records the phone number you dialed, your caller ID, and call metadata so we can measure which pages and campaigns drive calls and improve customer service.
- Tawk.to live chat — powers the chat widget; messages you send through chat are processed to respond to your inquiry.
- Google reCAPTCHA and ClickCease — spam, abuse, and click-fraud protection (essential security functions).
Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is strictly required — but we give you controls anyway. To exercise your choices at any time you can:
- Open our to turn analytics and advertising cookies on or off (also reachable from the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer on every page).
- Send a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal — we honor it automatically as a valid opt-out of "sale" and "sharing," and our cookie banner reads it on load and keeps advertising cookies off.
- Exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights to know, delete, or correct your information (see Section 6 above) by calling (877) 870-7998 or emailing [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request."
Non-discrimination. We will never deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any of these choices. If we ever activate advertising or cross-context "sharing" cookies in the future, we will update this section, the cookie banner, and this footer link before doing so. Questions about your choices: (877) 870-7998 · [email protected]. Last updated July 1, 2026.
7. Text Messaging & TCPA Consent
If you provide your mobile number and expressly opt in — for example, by checking a consent box on a form or texting us first — you agree to receive service-related and, if you separately opt in, marketing text messages from Pure Eco Inc. at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (typically 1–4 messages per week for service updates and confirmations; up to a few per month for any marketing messages you separately opt into).
STOP / HELP. Reply STOP to any text at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help, or contact us at (877) 870-7998. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
[CONFIRM: Pure Eco's A2P 10DLC registration status. If Pure Eco is registered for A2P 10DLC messaging, name the Brand and Campaign use cases here. If not registered, this section documents future capability and no marketing SMS will be sent from the Site until registration is completed. Mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.]
8. Cookies, Analytics & Do-Not-Track / Global Privacy Control
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (form submission, security, reCAPTCHA), for analytics (understanding which pages help visitors), and — only if enabled and disclosed — for advertising measurement.
[CONFIRM: which analytics/advertising tools will be active in production. Default
assumption is Google Analytics 4 (measurement only, IP anonymization on) and Google
reCAPTCHA. A cookie-consent banner will be wired site-wide in Stage 8 with the copy
specified in overrides/pureecoinc/_specs/legal-consent-wiring.md.]
You can control cookies through your browser settings and — where offered — through the Site's cookie banner. We honor recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" for California residents. We do not currently respond to legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no agreed industry standard.
9. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam and abuse; use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The Site may also link to third-party websites (our social profiles, manufacturer sites, rebate portals, financing partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their privacy policies before providing information.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults evaluating home-improvement services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) and we do not "sell" the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), limited-access administrator accounts, and use of PCI-compliant payment processors so card details are entered into the processor's own environment and are not stored on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please choose strong, unique passwords for any accounts you create and let us know immediately if you believe your information has been compromised.
12. International Users
The Site is operated in the United States and directed to residents of California and surrounding areas. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, post a notice on the Site or contact you directly. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
