Title 24 — California energy code
California's Title 24 sets minimum energy-efficiency standards for new construction, additions, and (in many cases) alterations. Attic insulation, wall insulation, duct sealing, and HVAC replacements all have Title 24 implications. When a project falls under Title 24 we install to code and provide the documentation your local building department asks for.
The California Energy Commission recommends R-30 as a minimum for SoCal attics; R-38 is our standard for a full re-insulation, and colder inland climates can call for R-49.
Permits
Not every job requires a permit — an insulation top-up in an existing attic often doesn't. But when a project does (HVAC replacements, ductwork, structural changes) Pure Eco pulls the permit for you, schedules the inspection, and handles the sign-off. You don't chase the city; we do.

If your project is targeting LEED certification or is being tracked as part of a whole- home energy retrofit, we install to the material R-values and air-sealing standards the rater is looking for, and we document what went where.
